GREENSBORO – An N.C. Department of Transportation contractor will close Ritters Lake Road between South Elm-Eugene Street and Randleman Road in Guilford County starting July 27. The road is expected to be closed for approximately two weeks.
Contractor crews will widen Ritters Lake Road to a left-turn lane for four site accesses for local businesses.
The additional turn lane is designed to help improve the safety of the traveling public and help mediate traffic through this area due to projected traffic volume increases from these businesses.
Drivers are to plan ahead for delays and to follow all posted detour signs to avoid the work zones.
