KINSTON – N.C. Department of Transportation crews will convert a Lenoir County intersection to an all-way stop next week.
On July 14, crews will install stop signs and pavement markings at the intersection of Burncoat Road and Liddell Road, weather permitting. Currently, the intersection is a two-way stop on Burncoat Road.
After a safety review, which included examination of traffic volumes and crash patterns, NCDOT determined an all-way stop was the most cost-effective way to improve safety. To learn more about an all-way stop, visit the webpage.
