GREENSBORO – Construction crews will add left and right-turn lanes and close South Elm-Eugene Street between Ritters Lake Road and Randleman Road starting Aug. 17.
The road in Guilford County is expected to be closed for more than two months.
The additional turn lanes will improve the safety of the traveling public and help mediate traffic through this area due to projected traffic increases from local businesses.
Drivers are to plan ahead for delays and to follow all posted detour signs to avoid the work zones.
