WALKERTOWN – A contractor for the N.C. Department of Transportation will close Belews Creek Road near Walkertown as part of the U.S. 158 widening project in Forsyth County.
The road closure will begin Monday, Sept. 28, and continue for the next 40 days until Sunday, Nov. 6, weather permitting.
The road closure is needed for the contractor to build the new alignment for Belews Creek Road at the U.S. 158 intersection.
A signed detour will be in place to help drivers access points on either side of the closure.
