JACKSONVILLE – Maintenance crews for the N.C. Department of Transportation plan to close a section of Ben Williams Road next week for a pipe replacement.
The work will take place on Ben Williams Road between Davis Road and Blue Creek Road.
The closure is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. Oct. 5 and is expected to remain in place until 5 p.m. Oct. 8, weather permitting.
Signs will be posted to alert motorist to the closure. Local traffic will continue to have access during the closure.
Motorists traveling through the area should use caution, follow directions from traffic control personnel and construction crews.
