ROCKY MOUNT –The N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles’ new Raleigh State IRP (International Registration Plan) office will open to commercial trucking carrier customers on Tuesday.
North Carolina is a member of the International Registration Plan, which is a registration reciprocity agreement that provides apportioned payments of registration fees for commercial trucking carriers, based on the total distance operated in the continental United States and Canada.
The new Raleigh office, at 3301 Terminal Dr., Suite 119, will be open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., except on state holidays.
Commercial trucking carrier customers can also visit the Charlotte State IRP office at 6016 Brookshire Blvd.
