WAKE FOREST – Maintenance crews with the N.C. Department of Transportation plan to close a section of Barham Siding Road this week for four days.
Starting Aug. 25 at 9 a.m., Barham Siding Road will close near the intersection with U.S. 401 (Louisburg Road). This will allow crews to safely replace a crossline pipe. Barham Siding Road is scheduled to reopen in the afternoon of Aug. 28, weather permitting.
During the closure, motorist will be detoured via Oscar Barham Road, N.C. 96 (Zebulon Road), and U.S. 401 (Louisburg Road).
Transportation officials remind drivers to plan ahead, be alert to construction crews in the area and obey all posted traffic signs.
