THOMASVILLE – The N.C. Department of Transportation will close a section of Pleasant Grove Church Road next month for maintenance.
Beginning April 14 at 7:30 a.m., crews will close the road between North Albertson Road and Hasty School Road to replace a storm drain culvert. The road is scheduled to reopen by 5:30 p.m. on April 17. The work is weather-dependent and could be postponed.
During the closure, drivers should follow the signed detour using National Highway and Hasty School Road.
Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead, use caution in the area and follow posted detour signs.
