RALEIGH – The N.C. Department of Transportation is seeking public input on a proposal to extend Beryl Road to Royal Street while closing the existing Beryl Road crossing at Hillsborough Street.
An open house will be from 5-7 p.m. on Aug. 27 inside the Method Community Center-Pioneer building at 514 Method Road. The informal meeting will be an opportunity for individuals to look at preliminary design maps, talk to the project team and submit comments.
The proposed changes are intended to reduce congestion and improve safety for vehicular traffic and pedestrians.
People may view project details on the NCDOT public input website, where questions or comments may be submitted to the project team. Comments received by Sept. 27 will be considered toward the final design.
