KITTY HAWK – The North Carolina Department of Transportation
will be re-painting lane markings in Dare County from the Wright Memorial Bridge
on U.S. 158 to the Pirate’s Cove Bridge on U.S. 64 from Monday, April 30 through
Friday, May 4.
NCDOT will set up a rolling work zone with short-duration lane closures while
the painting operation takes place. Motorists are asked to keep an eye out for
road crews, slow down and keep alert when driving around the painting operation.
Motorists should also avoid driving on the new lane markings to prevent getting
paint on their vehicles.
