The N.C. Department of Transportation will hold the following public meetings to present information on its Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS, or "drones") Integration Pilot Program initiative that proposes to provide commercial drone delivery service for on-demand food delivery and to set up a network of medical distribution centers that can use drones to make medical deliveries.

Town of Holly Springs, N.C. Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration, and Flytrex representatives will discuss involvement in the program that could make Holly Springs one of the first locations in the country with a business delivering packages to homes using a drone.
