The N.C. Department of Transportation proposes to
replace the bridge on Bradford Heights Road over the Catawba Creek in Gastonia.
The bridge was closed in the fall of 2024 due to a poor inspection report. Alternatives being considered are replace in-place and permanent closure of the bridge. If the bridge is permanently closed, access to properties would remain open at other points on Bradford Heights Road.

The public is invited to attend at any time between 6:30-7:30 p.m. as no formal presentation will be made. NCDOT representatives will be available to answer questions and receive comments.
