NCDOT hosts virtual public meeting for Multimodal Connected Vehicle Pilot Project - Wake County

The N.C. Department of Transportation will host a virtual public meeting to discuss a pilot project that explores the safety benefits of multimodal connected vehicle technology​ near N.C. State University in Raleigh. 

A virtual public meeting is scheduled for:

Monday, Nov. 17, 2025
6-7:30 p.m.

​Registration is required to attend this virtual public meeting.

​The public can attend the meeting online or by phone to learn more about the pilot, ask questions and talk with NCDOT representatives. There will be a formal presentation beginning promptly at 6 p.m. Meeting registration and project details, including a map of the pilot area, can be found on the NCDOT public input portal​. ​

Public Comment

NCDOT representatives will be available to answer questions and receive comments. The comments and information received will be taken into consideration as work on the project develops.
