The N.C. Department of Transportation plans to evaluate options for 11 miles of N.C. 12 from the Marc Basnight Bridge over the Oregon Inlet to the Rodanthe “Jug Handle" Bridge.
This planning phase is funded by a U.S. Department of Transportation PROTECT grant and will streamline future design, environmental review, and implementation.
