I-95 Widening

The N.C. Department of Transportation proposes to widen an 18.7-mile segment of I-95 between U.S. 301/Fayetteville Road (Exit 22) in Robeson County and I-95 Business/U.S. 301 (Exit 40) in Cumberland County.

A public meeting is scheduled for:

Monday, July 22, 2019*
4-7 p.m.
Robeson Community College
Fred G. Williams Student Center ​
5160 Fayetteville Road
Lumberton

*Another public meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2019.

The purpose of this meeting is to inform the public of the project and gather input on the proposed design.

The public may attend at any time during the public meeting hours, as no formal presentation will be made.

Public Comment

NCDOT representatives will be available to answer questions and receive comments. The comments and information received will be taken into consideration as work on the project develops.

The opportunity to submit written comments will be provided at the meeting or can be submitted via phone, email, mail or at NCDOT's public input portal by Aug. 23, 2019.
