Proposed Hilltop Road Railroad Crossing Grade Separation - Guilford County

The N.C. Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting to discuss the proposed Hilltop Road railroad crossing grade separation in Greensboro.

This proposed project converts the at-grade crossing (a local road that crosses over the railroad) of the N.C. Railroad/Norfolk Southern Railway to a grade separation (a local road that crosses over or under the railroad).

A public meeting is scheduled for:

Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024
4-7 p.m.
Gate City Baptist Church
5250 Hilltop Road 
Greensboro

The purpose of this meeting is to inform the public of the proposed project and gather input on the proposed design. The public can view project information, submit comments and receive email updates at NCDOT's ​public input portal​​​​​​​​​​​​.​​​​

Public Comment

NCDOT representatives will be available to answer questions and receive comments. The comments and information received will be taken into consideration as work on the project develops.
