The N.C. Department of Transportation proposes to extend Clanton Road from Donald Ross Road to Wilkinson Boulevard in Mecklenburg County.
The project also proposes to include building a bridge over the Norfolk Southern Railroad tracks and close the existing crossing on Donald Ross Road to eliminate train-vehicle collisions.

The purpose of this meeting is to inform the public of the proposed project and gather input on the proposed design. The public can view project information, submit comments and receive email updates at
NCDOT's public input portal.
Public Comment
NCDOT representatives will be available to answer questions and receive comments. The comments and information received will be taken into consideration as work on the project develops.
