The N.C. Department of Transportation proposes plans to upgrade U.S. 70 to interstate standards from east of Thurman Road (S.R. 1116) to the Neuse River Bridge in James City, Craven County.
The public may drop in at any time during the meeting hours. NCDOT representatives will be available to answer questions and listen to comments regarding the project. Please note that no formal presentation will be made.

A public meeting will also be held on Wednesday, Feb. 27.
The purpose of this meeting is to inform the public of the project and gather input on the proposed design.
The public may attend at any time during the public meeting hours, as no formal presentation will be made.
NCDOT will provide auxiliary aids and services under the Americans with Disabilities Act for disabled persons who wish to participate in this workshop.
