The N.C. Department of Transportation proposes a project to modernize approximately 22 miles of N.C. 45 by increasing the width of the existing lanes and shoulders from the Washington County line to the Town of Colerain in Bertie County. The purpose of the project is to improve the mobility and safety of the roadway for users of N.C. 45.

The purpose of this meeting is to inform the public of the project and gather input on the proposed design.
The public may attend at any time during the public meeting hours, as no formal presentation will be made.
Public Comment
NCDOT representatives will be available to answer questions and receive comments. The comments and information received will be taken into consideration as work on the project develops.
