U.S. 17 Intersection Improvements

The N.C. Department of Transportation proposes intersection improvements at the intersection of U.S. 17 at U.S. 17 Business (Main Street)/Frontage Road N.W., north of Shallotte, and U.S. 17 at U.S. 17 Business (Main Street)/Old Shallotte Road (S.R. 1316), south of Shallotte in Brunswick County.

A public meeting is scheduled for:

Monday, June 24, 2019
5-7 p.m.
Shallotte Town Hall
110 Cheers St.
Shallotte

The purpose of this meeting is to inform the public of the project and gather input on the proposed design.

The public may attend at any time during the public meeting hours, as no formal presentation will be made.

Public Comment

NCDOT representatives will be available to answer questions and receive comments. The comments and information received will be taken into consideration as work on the project develops.

The opportunity to submit written comments will be provided at the meeting or can be submitted via phone, email or at NCDOT's public input portal by July 24, 2019.
