Proposed Improvements to Wayne Memorial Drive - Wayne County

The N.C. Department of Transportation proposes improvements to Wayne Memorial Drive from Country Day to New Hope roads in Wayne County. The purpose of the proposed project is to improve traffic and mobility along the corridor. 

A public meeting is scheduled for:

The information presented at this public meeting will allow for individual discussions with project engineers, but there will be no formal presentation. Project details and maps can be found at the NCDOT public input webpage​​.

NCDOT representatives will be available to answer questions and receive comments. The comments and information received will be taken into consideration as work on the project develops.
