Safety Improvements on N.C. 27 in Harnett County

The N.C. Department of Transportation proposes these safety improvements on N.C. 27 in the Coats community of Harnett County:

• Install an all-way stop at the N.C. 27 and Red Hill Church Road intersection
• Install an all-way stop at the Bailey’s Crossroads Road and Red Hill Church Road intersection
• Realignment of Fairgrounds Road
• Install a cul-de-sac on Bailey’s Crossroads Road at N.C. 27
  
• Right of way acquisition is anticipated to begin late spring 2021

Due to COVID-19, NCDOT will not host an in-person public meeting for this project. However, the public is invited to review the project map and submit comments.
