The N.C. Department of Transportation proposes to replace the bridge on Cypress Creek Road over Back Swamp in Duplin County.
The new bridge will be relocated to the south of the existing bridge. During construction, which is expected to last up to two years, traffic will be detoured.
Due to COVID-19, NCDOT will not host an in-person public meeting for this project. However, the public is invited to visit
NCDOT's public input portal and submit comments.
