STIP Number R-5921
The N.C. Department of Transportation proposes to make improvements to U.S. 276 from U.S. 19 to just south of I-40 in Haywood County.
The existing corridor is a 4-lane roadway with a grassed median separation. Proposed improvements include the addition of inside and outside shoulders, and intersection modifications.

The meeting will be held Dec. 7 at Pride Resort, 4394 Jonathan Creek Road, Waynesville. The public is invited to attend at any time between 5-7 p.m.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, masks are required.
