14th Street Widening

Project Overview

The N.C. Department of Transportation proposes widening approximately 1.1 miles of 14th Street in Greenville from Red Banks Road to Fire Tower Road to a two-lane median-divided roadway with bicycle lanes​.

Once complete, the project would help improve traffic flow and safety as well as accommodate future traffic growth along the project corridor.


 

Project Funding

This project is listed as Project U-5917 in the N.C. Department of Transportation's State Transportation Improvement Program and is funded for $12.4 million.
