Project Overview
Construction began on January 2022 to widen a 7.2-mile stretch of N.C. 211 from two lanes to four lanes from Midway Road to N.C. 87 in Brunswick County. Work will also include building a median.
Widening this part of N.C. 211 would help improve traffic flow, improve driver safety and traffic capacity and provide a safer evacuation route as this
