Thomasville - N.C. Department of
Transportation contractors have started replacing an undersized storm drainpipe
with a larger pipe along Stemp Everhart Road near Thomasville today Monday,
April 16.
Work will require a closure to be in place
until 3:30 p.m. Monday, May 18, weather permitting.
Traffic will be able to detour around the closure using Shell Road,
Johnsontown Road and Upper Lake Road.
NCDOT reminds
motorists to obey the posted speed limit, and allow extra time to reach
their destinations safely.
