FORSYTH COUNTY – A N.C. Department of Transportation contractor will begin significant road improvements for people who travel along the Bethania-Rural Hall Road corridor (N.C. 65), stretching from U.S. 52 to Northridge Park Drive.
These road improvements are expected to provide safer, more efficient travel for motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians, supporting the continued growth and connectivity in the Winston-Salem community.
NCDOT recently awarded the nearly $12.4 million contract to Branch Civil.
The project was requested by the Winston-Salem Area Transportation Planning Organization.
Branch Civil will begin work this fall and is expected to be completed by fall 2027. More details about traffic impacts will be released closer to the start of construction and available at DriveNC.gov.
