HIGH POINT – Contractors for the N.C. Department of Transportation will shift lane closures on Interstate 85 as ongoing bridge rehabilitation work moves into its next phase.
The left‑lane closures on I‑85 North and South between mile markers 112 and 113 near Liberty Road are concluding today.
Beginning March 9, crews will resume work and install a right‑lane closure on I‑85 North between mile markers 113A and 112. This closure will be in place Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and is scheduled to continue through May 29, weather permitting.
During the closure, the off‑ramp at Exit 113A will remain open to traffic.
Drivers should expect possible delays, allow extra time for their commute and use caution when traveling through the work zone.
