BEAUFORT – Construction of a new roundabout in Carteret County is underway, and the N.C. Department of Transportation is providing a new tool to offer more updates on the project to the public.
In the Town of Beaufort, NCDOT is building a single-lane roundabout at the intersection of U.S. 70 (Live Oak Street) and N.C. 101 to enhance mobility and safety by reducing vehicle speeds and maintaining a continuous flow of traffic.
To keep the community informed, the project team developed a new webpage and subscriber list to provide real-time updates regarding this project.
