SOUTHERN PINES – N.C. Department of Transportation crews are set close a section of Valley View Road in Moore County this week, weather permitting.
Starting Aug. 25 at 8 a.m., part of Valley View Road will close near Niagara Carthage Road for a pipe replacement. The road is scheduled to reopen by 8 p.m. on Aug. 29.
A signed detour will be in place directing traffic around the closure via Northwood Drive and Hyland Hills Road.
Drivers should be mindful of crews working in the area and allow extra time to reach their destination.
