The N.C. Department of Transportation proposes to improve N.C. 65 and N.C. 65/87 between Old County Home Road and U.S. 158/U.S. 29 Business. The project includes widening the corridor to five lanes between N.C. 65/87 and Sandy Cross Road/Wentworth Street, adding sidewalks and a multi-use path between Old County Home Road and Peach Tree Road.

The purpose of this meeting is to inform the public of the proposed project and gather input on the proposed design. The public can view project information, submit comments and receive email updates at
NCDOT's public input portal.
Public Comment
NCDOT representatives will be available to answer questions and receive comments. The comments and information received will be taken into consideration as work on the project develops.
