​Phase 1 of the Charlotte Gateway Station includes the following: 

• Two 2,000-foot-long station tracks located between 8th and 3rd streets
  
• Signals to govern train operations
• Five new railroad bridges at West 4th, West Trade, West 5th, West 6th streets and the Bank of America greenway
• 1,100-foot-long ADA compliant, high-level passenger boarding platform and canopy foundations
