The proposed widening of Miller Boulevard in Havelock was first added to the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program for 2018-2027. The Down East Rural Planning Organization endorses this project, and the City of Havelock Board of Commissioners adopted a resolution of support of the project in August 2022.
