The N.C. Department of Transportation held the following meeting regarding the final designs (Sections D and E) of the proposed Shelby Bypass from west of N.C. 150 to west of Stony Point Road at U.S. 74 Business in Kings Mountain:

There was no formal presentation, but the 2018 maps of the recommended designs, referred to as alternatives, were available for viewing.
The NCDOT project team, including right-of-way agents, were available to discuss the project and answer questions.
The public had the opportunity to provide written comments.
