The Consultant, Utility, Railroad & Turnpike Unit reviews all proposed consultant contracts for the N.C. Department of Transportation as well as contracts when consultants are utilized. The unit reviews pay rates, overhead rates and other non-salary costs included in the consultant contracts.
The unit also reviews invoices associated with consultant services prior to submission to the Accounts Payable Unit for payment.
