Ready to make a real impact in your community? We are hiring dedicated individuals to elevate customer service at driver license offices across the state. Our front-line staff help North Carolinians access the services they need to get where they need to go every day. Our modernization efforts are also focused on making employee work tools better and more efficient. Examiner positions start at $51,980.

Opportunities for student internships
The Division of Motor Vehicles Internship Program offers undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to explore career opportunities with us. These paid, full-time internships run from May to August. There are multiple opportunities available at driver license offices across the state and at our headquarters in Rocky Mount, where you will be able to contribute to our modernization efforts.
