Use the scheduling option to book an in-person or virtual meeting with NCDOT's I-77 South project team. 

​​The I-77 South Express Lanes Community Engagement Center builds on a broader engagement initiative launched by the N.C. Department of Transportation to hear directly from communities along the corridor, which is central to the project’s development.

The Community Engagement Center will serve as an ongoing resource and meeting space for surrounding communities, providing project information, offering one-on-one meetings with NCDOT staff and creating opportunities to discuss potential community enhancements and beneficial programs.

Visitors can make virtual and in-person appointments online or by calling 1‑800‑254‑0498. Drop-in appointments are also available.

​The Center will also host events on project milestones and topic areas of interest for the community.

    The Community Engagement Center is a place for open conversation and collaboration. 

    Visitors can:
    • Learn about the I-77 South Express Lanes project
    • Review maps, timelines and construction information
    • Ask questions about travel, access and tolling
    • Share concerns or feedback with the project team
    • Get connected to additional project resources
    NCDOT’s goal is to provide clear, accessible information and ensure community voices are part of the process.

  • Operating Hours
    The Center is open to during the following hours:
    • Monday through Friday: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
    • Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
    • Sunday: Closed

    What Are Office Hours?

    Office hours are dedicated times when project team members are available to meet one‑on‑one with community members. These meetings allow for more detailed conversations and assistance.

    Appointments are available:
    • In person at the Community Engagement Center
    • Virtually via Microsoft Teams
