Next Steps
The project is currently in the procurement phase, and design is approximately 10–15% complete. Preliminary
design maps represent early concepts intended to support planning and public input. As the project advances, designs will be refined with a focus on eliminating and minimizing impacts and maximizing community benefits.
Community engagement will continue throughout the design and procurement process. A public hearing will be held in the summer of 2026, which will be another opportunity for public engagement. The final environmental document will be released in early 2027.
