Submit Application
To ensure transparency and meaningful representation, a panel of local leaders and community members will review all submissions and select 11 participants to be part of the Advisory Group. Selection will be based on applicants’ level of interest, familiarity with the corridor and understanding of community needs.
The Advisory Group will play a key role in shaping early project development. Their feedback will help inform NCDOT as it prepares the first draft Request for Proposals, or RFP, for potential developers. The initial set of recommendations from the Advisory Group, along with the first draft of the RFP, will be shared publicly in June. NCDOT anticipates releasing the full first draft RFP by the end of June 2026.
