Service for five of North Carolina's seven ferry routes is on a first-come, first-served basis.

The N.C. Ferry Division, however, does accept reservations up to 90 days in advance for service on the popular Cedar Island-Ocracoke and Swan Quarter-Ocracoke routes.

Any reservations must be claimed at least 30 minutes prior to departure to avoid cancellation.

Although optional, reservations are recommended – especially during the busy summer season – to ensure your desired departure time.

To purchase tickets, book below online or call 1-800-BY-FERRY.
