Round 1 and Round 2 Awards

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The N.C. Department of Transportation has announced a second round of awards for firms to install and operate electric vehicle charging stations along major travel corridors in North Carolina. 

This funding is made available under the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Program, or NEVI. The total funding awarded for Round 2 is $14,405,524 and will be used to construct 14 charging stations. There are five electric vehicle charging stations currently being constructed under Round 1 funding. 

The map and table below shows all the locations and firms that have been awarded NEVI funding to build and operate electric vehicle charging stations.​ On the map below, Round 1 winners are in orange and Round 2 winners are in blue.​ Round 2 Awards are conditional until contracts are signed by all parties.​
